Why some models stay pending
Publishing policy differs by manufacturer
Molicel publishes product data sheets for its cylindrical cells, and those PDFs are held on file — every Molicel model here is marked with the manufacturer document attached.
Samsung SDI, LG Energy Solution and Panasonic do not publish downloadable data sheets for most cylindrical models. Where no manufacturer document exists, values come from public sources and stay labelled pending. That is a statement about what can be verified, not a judgement on the cells.
The practical consequence for a design: a pending figure is a starting point for an enquiry, not a number to finalise a thermal design against. Ask for the model and the answer is what is held and what would have to be obtained.
Cross-brand alternatives
Send the model you are designing around. If there is an electrically comparable part from another manufacturer with documentation, that is worth knowing before you freeze the design.
