A cell supplier that publishes its sources

B2B supplier of lithium-ion cells and energy storage packs. Part of Treasun New Energy Technology Co., Ltd (est. 2010). The part that matters is not what we claim — it is that every parameter on this site can be traced back to a manufacturer document, and that we say so when it cannot.

What we do

Sourcing, verification and documentation

Cell distribution is mostly a paperwork business disguised as a hardware business. The cells from any given manufacturer are what they are; what separates a usable supplier from an unusable one is whether the numbers you were quoted match the numbers on the data sheet, and whether the transport and safety documentation arrives with the shipment rather than three weeks after it.

So that is the whole operation: hold the manufacturer documents, keep the parameters aligned with them, mark anything we have not been able to verify as unverified, and ship cells in their original packaging with batch codes intact.

Treasun New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. was founded in 2010. Its business covers PV connector manufacturing, PV cable and lithium-ion cell supply. This site is the cell side of it. The PV connector and cable range is published separately at www.treasol.com, and cells are held and shipped from the Hong Kong and Shenzhen warehouses.

Working method

Four rules we do not bend

None of these are marketing. They are the failure modes we have seen cost customers a redesign.

01

A rating is quoted with its condition

A discharge current is only valid while the pack holds the cell inside the manufacturer temperature cut-off. We publish the condition next to the number rather than stripping it out.

02

Unverified stays labelled unverified

Where a manufacturer does not publish a data sheet, the values on this site are marked pending. We would rather lose a sale than have a pack built on our rounding.

03

Certificate numbers come from certificates

We quote a certificate number only when we hold the document and the model appears in its coverage list. "The supplier has a UL certificate" is not a claim we make.

04

No repacking into unlabelled cartons

Cells ship in original manufacturer packaging with batch codes visible. Traceability is the thing you need when something goes wrong two years later.

From enquiry to dispatch

How an order is put together

The sequence is short and it is the same for every order. What changes is how tightly the cells have to be matched, and that is settled in the enquiry rather than assumed.

Incoming check

Model designation and batch code are read against the manufacturer packaging. Cells arriving with damaged packaging or an unreadable batch code do not go into stock — there is nothing to trace later.

Matching

Where matched sets are required, cells sharing a series string are grouped by capacity, internal resistance and open-circuit voltage, and taken from one batch. An unmatched string drifts into the protection cut-off long before its capacity is used.

Packing for transit

Cells travel in manufacturer packaging with the batch code visible and the terminals separated. Repacking into unlabelled cartons saves nothing and costs the traceability.

Paperwork

UN38.3 test summary and safety data sheet matched to the shipping configuration. A certificate is quoted only where the document is held and the model appears in its coverage list.

Handling

Storage conditions before dispatch

Cells are held and shipped at a partial state of charge rather than fully charged. That is both the transport requirement for air freight and the condition under which a cell sits stably on a shelf.

Storage is dry, at ambient temperature, out of direct sun and away from condensation. Cells stay in their manufacturer packaging with terminals separated, so nothing conductive can bridge them in transit or in the rack.

Stock held for a long period is rechecked on open-circuit voltage before it goes out. If a batch has drifted, that is stated before dispatch rather than discovered at the pack builder.

Documentation policy

How we handle certificates

Battery compliance documents are issued to a legal entity for specific models. Mixing that up is how a shipment gets held at a port.

UN38.3

Transport test summary. Mandatory for air and sea movement of cells and batteries; what buyers receive is the summary, not the full laboratory report.

IEC 62133-2 / IEC 62619

Cell safety for portable applications and for industrial or stationary applications respectively. Which one applies depends on where the pack ends up.

UL 1642 / UL 2054

North American recognition for cells and for packs. Issued under a file number that lists the covered models — the check is whether your model appears in that list.
